- Beginning with the Class of 2015, students must have a score of Proficient or Advanced on the Algebra I End of Course exam to be eligible for funding.
- A+ funding is access when eligible students:

- The A+ Program pays for tuition and general fees after all available, non-loan federal assistance funding sources, such as Pell Grants, have been applied.
- Funding for the A+ Program is contingent upon funding at the state level, as the Missouri Legislature appropriates the funding on a yearly basis.
- Reimbursed funding may be reduced or eliminated if there is insufficient state funding.
- A student is A+ eligible after meeting the program requirements for either 1) 48 months after completion of high school coursework, 2) completion of 105% of the hours required for the program in which the student is enrolled, including all developmental/remedial coursework and hours taken at any non-eligible A+ institution, or 3) completion of an associate's degree.
